چکیده
Background Maternal hypotension following spinal anesthesia can be actively countered by the use of vasopressors. Prophylactic infusion vasopressors with a rescue bolus dosing was observed to more effective for hemodynamic stability when compared administering dose alone. Although phenylephrine is recommended drug treat hypotension, many recent studies have focussed on role norepinephrine infusions during cesarean section. In this study, we prophylactic fixed-rate intravenous and delivery under requirement intraoperative provider-administered needed overcome post-spinal hypotension. Methodology A total 208 patients undergoing elective section were randomly assigned two groups (group P group N). Group N included 104 who received at rate 2.5 μg/minute (0.04 μg/kg/minute), 50 (0.8 μg/kg/minute) The primary outcome our study compare reduction in number maintain systolic blood pressure. secondary neonatal using umbilical venous gas sampling Apgar score one five minutes. Results required significantly lower (p = 0.0005) P. similar between groups. Conclusions associated lesser boluses.

Comparison of prophylactic bolus norepinephrine and phenylephrine on hypotension during spinal anesthesia for cesarean section
Background and objective: Phenylephrine is the first-line choice for prevention and treatment of hypotension during spinal anesthesia for cesarean section. However, the serious bradycardia caused by phenylephrine is a concern. This study compared the effects of prophylactic bolus norepinephrine and phenylephrine on hypotension during spinal anesthesia for cesarean section. Methods: A total of 1...
متن کاملPrevention of hypotension during spinal anesthesia for cesarean delivery: an effective technique using combination phenylephrine infusion and crystalloid cohydration.
BACKGROUND Many methods for preventing hypotension during spinal anesthesia for cesarean delivery have been investigated, but no single technique has proven to be effective and reliable. This randomized study studied the efficacy of combining simultaneous rapid crystalloid infusion (cohydration) with a high-dose phenylephrine infusion. METHODS Nonlaboring patients scheduled to undergo electiv...
متن کاملComparison of Intravenous bolus Phenylephrine and Ephedrine in the Prevention of Post- spinal Hypotension during Cesarean Section
Abstract Introduction: Spinal anesthesia is a commonly used anesthetic technique for cesarean section. The hypotension is the serious and common complication for it. Prevention of this complication is an important challenge for anesthesiologists. Objective: The aim of this study is to compare the effect of prophylactic bolus injection of Phenylephrine and Ephedrine in the prevention of hypote...
متن کاملComparison of Prophylactic Infusion of Phenylephrine with Ephedrine for Prevention of Hypotension in Elective Cesarean Section under Spinal Anesthesi: A Randomized Clinical Trial
Background: Spinal anesthesia is an accepted technique in elective cesarean sections. However, hypotension, resulted from sympathectomy is a common problem, especially in pregnant women. Prevention of this complication by sympathomimetic agents is of potential clinical significance. The aim of this study is to compare the effect of prophylactic infusion of Phenylephrine versus Ephedrine in the ...
متن کاملThe Effect of Prophylactic Infusion of Combined Ephedrin and Phenylephrine on Maternal Hemodynamic after Spinal Anesthesia for Cesarean Section: A Randomized Clinical Trial
Several techniques have been proposed to prevent hypotension in obstetric patients. Ephedrine and phenylephrine are individually used to prevent maternal hypotension; however, each has its own drawbacks. Some researchers have reported that the infusion of combined ephedrine and phenylephrine immediately after spinal anesthesia for cesarean delivery reduces the incidence of maternal hypotension....
